Acola Jade crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Our Murray Grey and Watto Surprise. Triple Lindy crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Acola Jade and Our Murray Grey. Watto Surprise, Our Murray Grey and Acola Jade collided approaching the first turn checking Our Murray Grey and Acola Jade. Unquestionably raced wide approaching the home turn. Blast Away and Lite Beam collided approaching the home turn. Our Murray Grey checked off Watto Surprise on the home turn. Southern Blaze galloped on the heels of Lite Beam entering the home straight.

Kripke was quick to begin.

Agility, Fantasy Express, Dina Bale and Phil Mieski collided soon after the start checking Dina Bale and Phil Mieski and severely checking Fantasy Express. Agility crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Deadly Clear, Kraken Concord and Memphis Jookin'. Deadly Clear and Memphis Jookin' collided approaching the first turn checking Memphis Jookin' and Fantasy Express. Kraken Concord and Memphis Jookin' collided approaching the first turn severely checking Memphis Jookin' which contacted the running rail as a result. Deadly Clear and Phil Mieski collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Fantasy Express and Phil Mieski collided entering the home straight checking Phil Mieski. Kraken Concord and Memphis Jookin' collided in the home straight checking Memphis Jookin'. 

Memphis Jookin' was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a superficial laceration to the left hind. No stand down period was imposed. 

Ayden Jackson was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Benzo Bale, Bing's Bro and Mr. Jachary collided soon after the start checking Benzo Bale and Bing's Bro. Benzo Bale checked off Acola Magic approaching the first turn. Bing's Bro, Allen Gravion and Gospel Lass collided several times approaching the first turn. Acola Magic and Mr. Jachary collided approaching the first turn. Gospel Lass, Allen Gravion and Bing's Bro collided on the first turn checking Bing's Bro and Ayden Jackson. Allen Gravion and Bing's Bro collided approaching the home turn checking Bing's Bro and Ayden Jackson. Bing's Bro galloped on the heels of Allen Gravion approaching the home turn checking Bing's Bro and Ayden Jackson. Bing's Bro and Allen Gravion collided on the home turn checking Allen Gravion.

Allen Gravion was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Vee Big Boy was a late scratching at 6:20p.m. on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Acola Ebony and Power Volt collided approaching the first turn checking Acola Ebony. Athos checked off Ima Apple on the first turn checking Power Volt. Acola Ebony and Power Volt collided on the home turn. Acola Ebony galloped on the heels of Power Volt in the home straight causing Ecola Ebony to stumble as a result.

Redding and Classy Boy were slow to begin.

Stinga Rebel and Classy Boy collided soon after the start. Hunter Rocks, Redding and Batmandu collided soon after the start checking Hunter Rocks and Redding. Redding Classy Boy and Stinga Rebel collided approaching the first turn checking Stinga Rebel. Hunter Rocks checked off Uno Whirl entering the back straight. Hunter Rocks and Classy Boy collided in the back straight. Hunter Rocks and Claretown Snowy collided approaching the third turn. Hunter Rocks galloped on the heels of Redding on the third turn checking both greyhounds. Go Jacko Go and Uno Whirl collided several times approaching the home turn. Batmandu and Classy Boy collided approaching the home turn. Claretown Snowy, Redding, Stinga Rebel and Hunter Rocks raced wide in the home straight. Go Jacko Go and Uno Whirl collided several times in the home straight and approaching the winning post.

Hunter Rocks was vetted following the event and revetted following race 7. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left hind. No stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Ms. D. White regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Redding. Stewards directed that Redding be boxed first in future events. 

Peter Pettigrew, Pason Sander and Mahogany Saphire collided soon after the start checking Pason Sander and Peter Pettigrew. Chasin Mikado, Trip To Cairns and Filius Flitwick collided soon after the start checking Chasin Mikado and Trip To Cairns. Trip To Cairns checked off Chasin Mikado on the first turn. Sally Gardens and Mahogany Saphire collided in the back straight checking Peter Pettigrew and severely checking Mahogany Saphire. Peter Pettigrew and Mahogany Saphire collided on the second turn checking Mahogany Saphire. Mahalo and Pason Sander collided approaching the home turn checking Mahalo. Chasin Mikado and Trip To Cairns collided entering the home straight causing both greyhounds to race wide. Chasin Mikado and Trip To Cairns collided in the home straight. Peter Pettigrew and Pason Sander collided in the home straight.

Ever To Be was a late scratching at 6:37p.m. by Order of Stewards. An enquiry into the reason pertaining to the scratching of Ever To Be was adjourned for a date to be fixed. 

A pre race sample was taken from Bomber Attack.

Bomber Attack and Jaraco collided soon after the start. Miracle Shambi and Caramel Mix collided approaching the first turn. Ko Ko Mikado, Conquer Fear, Miracle Shambi and Belena Lad collided on the first turn checking Belena Lad and Ko Ko Mikado and severely checking  Miracle Shambi. Bomber Attack and Ko Ko Mikado raced wide entering the home straight.

El Chana and Fiery Fox were quick to begin and collided soon after the start checking El Chana. Candle Wish and Peyton Paradise collided soon after the start checking Peyton Paradise. Jamiela Twist crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Cobalt Mist. El Chana, Fiery Fox and Lites And Sirens collided on the first turn checking Lites And Sirens, Candle Wish and Cobalt Mist. Lites And Sirens and Candle Wish collided in the back straight checking Lites and Sirens. El Chana checked off Jamiela Twist approaching the second turn. Fiery Fox and Candle Wish collided on the second turn checking Candle Wish. Fiery Fox and Escapade Jess collided on the home turn. Escapade Jess and Cobalt Mist collided in the home straight checking Escapade Jess.

Peyton Paradise which trailed the field throughout the event and tailed off was subsequently vetted. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triangle muscle. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

Captain Bling was a late scratching at 6:21p.m. on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Classy Flyer was quick to begin. Shattered Ice was slow to begin. 

Anisa Bale checked off Golden Girl Anna approaching the first turn. Black Illusion contacted the running rail approaching the first turn. Shattered Ice, Sing For Me and Golden Girl Anna collided on the first turn severely checking Golden Girl Anna and Black Illusion. Sing For Me and Golden Girl Anna raced wide in the home straight.

This race was delayed one minute due to a fault with the air compressor at the starting boxes. 

Hurricane Yella was quick to begin. 

Flossy Thelly and Almost Human collided soon after the start. Hurricane Yella crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Kakihara, Fleetwood Storm, Renstar and Betty Armagh. Betty Armagh, Renstar and Kakihara collided approaching the first turn checking Betty Armagh and Kakihara. Flossy Thelly checked off Almost Human on the first turn checking Betty Armagh.
