Elfie and May It Be collided on the first turn, checking May It Be. Mepunga Brodie raced wide on the first turn. Elfie and Flash Zoe collided approaching the secon turn. Harlem Shake galloped on Mahjong King on the second turn, checking Harlem Shake. Hashtag Yolo and Harlem Shake collided entering the back straight, checking Harlem Shake and Shake Em Up. Harlem Shake galloped on Hashtag Yolo in the back straight, checking Hashtag Yolo. May It be and Mahjong King collided on the third turn. May It Be and Flash Zoe collided on home turn and again entering the home straight, checking both greyhounds.

Hanify's Sammy, Baby's Rattle and Why Not Liam were slow to begin. Esparza crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Black Velcro and Make Papa Proud. Hanify's Sammy checked off Baby's Rattle approaching the first turn, checking Baby's Rattle. Make Papa Proud and Black Velcro collided on the first turn, checking Make Papa Proud and Black Velcro. Esparza and Darcon Dash collided on the first turn. Make Papa Proud and Baby's Rattle collided on the first turn. Black Velcro and Darcon Dash collided on the third turn, checking both greyhounds. Why Not Liam checked off Darcon Dash on the third turn. Darcon Dash checked Black Velcro collided approaching the home turn and collided with Hanify's Sammy. Why Not Liam galloped on Darcon Dash collided on the home turn and raced wide.

Baby Blitzen was quick to begin. Sisco Wake was very slow to begin (4 lengths). Busta Voe crossed in soon after the start, checking Maybe Could Be. Just Bling It and Baby Blitzen collided soon after the start. In Black Gear, Mademoiselle Sox and Busta Voe collided approaching the first turn, checking Mademoiselle Sox, Maybe Could Be and Busta Voe. Just Bling It and Maybe Could Be collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Just Bling It and Mademoiselle Sox collided on the first turn and raced wide. Mademoiselle Sox and Busta Voe collided approaching the second turn, checking both greyhounds which raced wide as a result. Just Bling It checked off Busta Voe on the second turn. Sisco Wake and Busta Voe collided entering the back straight, checking Sisco Wake, Busta Voe and Maybe Could Be. Just Bling It checked off Maybe Could Be entering the back straight. Just Bling It raced wide in the back straight. 

Just Bling It was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Maybe Could Be was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazes to the right calf, no stand down period was imposed. 

R. Brook, trainer of Opulent Rose redeclared a new weight of 28.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Opulent Rose last raced at 26.5kg.

Weston East, Hashtag Selfie, Opulent Rose, Sir Charleton and Udon Bale collided approaching the first turn. Billy Bubba, Mermaid Millie and Stealthy Shadow collided on the first turn. Opulent Rose eased on the first turn, checking Sir Charleton. Hashtag Selfie checked off Stealthy Shadow on the first turn, causing Sir Charleton to fall, checking Opulent Rose and severely checking Hashtag Selfie. Billy Bubba and Stealthy Shadow collided approaching the home turn.

Sir Charleton was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. 

Stewards spoke to R. Brook, the trainer of the greyhound Opulent Rose regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn.  Opulent Rose was vetted and re-vetted following race 9.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left shoulder, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Opulent Rose with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  R. Brook pleaded guilty to the charge, Opulent Rose was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to A. Langton and reminded her of her responsibilities after she arrived late to the kennels to prepare the greyhound Weston East for the event.

Classified Miss, Sisco Rage, Tommy El, Annabow and Why Not Wayne were slow to begin. Tommy El and Annabow collided soon after the start, checking Tommy El and Sisco Rage. Classified Miss checked off Sisco Rage approaching the first turn, checking Tommy El. Sisco Rage checked off Serash Bale on the first turn. Chasin Mikado and Why Not Wayne collided entering the front straight. Sisco Rage checked off Serash Bale in the front straight and collided with Annabow. Annabow checked off Why Not Wayne on the second turn. Chasin Mikado raced wide approaching the third turn, checking Why Not Wayne and Annabow. Annabow raced wide enrtering the back straight. Chasin Mikado and Why Not Wayne collided in the back straight. Tommy El checked off Serash Bale on the fourth turn. Sisco Rage and Sonic Fury collided entering the home straight. 

Sugar Lips was slow to begin. Long Sigh checked off Transam Sally soon after the start. Rockin' Josie, Starzar Diamonds and Long Sigh collided approaching the first turn, checking Long Sigh. Jubilea Bale and Starzar Diamonds collided on the first turn. Rockin'Josie and Jess' Fantasy collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Starzar Diamonds and Cheeky Hand collided on the second turn, checking Starzar Diamonds. Long Sigh checked off Rockin'Josie entering the back straight, checking Jess' Fantasy. Starzar Diamonds and Sugar Lips collided approaching the home turn. Rockin'Josie and Sugar Lips collided approaching the home turn, checking Rockin' Josie.

Survivor Sal, Glock and Elizabeth Two were slow to begin. Belinda's Girl and Survivor Sal collided on the first turn, checking Belinda's Girl. Elizabeth Two checked off Freesia Bale enrtering the front straight and raced wide. Glock checked off Black Veil approaching the second turn. Belinda's Girl faltered approaching the second turn and tailed off. Survivor Sal and Freesia Bale collided approaching the third turn. Fressia Bale checked off Glock on the third turn. Survivor Sal and Fressia Bale collided approaching the third turn. Fressia Bale checked off Glock on the third turn. Survivor Sal and Elizabeth Two collided in the back straight. Survivor Sal, Elizabeth Two and Ko Ko Mikado collided on the fourth turn, checking all three greyhounds. Elizabeth Two marred Ko Ko Mikado on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Belinda's Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right tricep injury; a 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

Elizabeth Two was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained left and right shoulder soreness and left wrist soreness; a 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to S. Whyte, the trainer of the greyhound Elizabeth Two regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn and in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Elizabeth Two with marring. S. Whyte reserved his plea to the charge. Elizabeth Two was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown Park and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Clash Of The Kings and Know Class collided son after the start. Whatta Joke, Zambora Magic and Bremer collided soon after the start, checking all three greyhound's. Zander's Express, Whatta Joke, Zambora Magic, Bremer and Clash Of Kings approaching the first turn, checking Whatta Joke, Zambora Magic, Bremer, Clash Of Kings and Know Class. Whatta Joke, Zambora Magic, Bremer, Clash Of Kings and Sisco Good collided on the first turn, checking Whatta Joke, Bremer, Clash Of Kings, Know Class and servely checking Zambora Magic and Sisco Good; Sisco Good stumbled as a result. Whatta Joke and Clash Of Kings collided on the third turn. Clash Of Kings contacted the running rail approaching the third turn. Bremer contacted the running rail approaching the third turn. Know Class checked off Pappa Gallo approaching the third turn. Clash Of Kings checked off Bremer on the home turn. Know Class, Zander's Express and Pappa Gallo collided entering the home straight.

Kathy's Queen and Secret Marjen collided approaching the second turn, checking Secret Marjen which raced wide, subsequently checking Dora's Hand. Betty Armagh and Kathy's Queen collided approaching the home turn. Kathy's Queen and Watch My Path collided entering the home straight. 

Gold Anthem was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury; a 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Call Me Scary was quick to begin. High Commando, Roman Baroque and Boolite Bruiser collided soon after the start. Boolite Bruiser and Dyna Synch collided approaching the first turn, checking Boolite Bruiser. Zambora Power and Roman Baroque collided approaching the first turn. High Commando, Roman Baroque, Zambora Power, Dyna Synch and Wild Douglas collided on the first turn, checking Roman Baroque, Zambora Power, Dyna Synch, Wild Douglas and Boolite Bruiser. Dyna Synch checked off Atlas Genius on the first turn.
