Steward's Report
Doomsday Clock, Shattered Ice and Tron's Son were slow to begin. Lewis Fields and Tron's Son collided soon after the start checking Lewis Fields. Tron's Son checked off Ice Cossack approaching the first turn. Lemon Patchwork, Shattered Ice and Lewis Fields collided on the first turn checking Shattered Ice and severeley checking Lewis Fields which faltered and pulled up. Doomsday Clock and Ice Cossack collided approaching the home turn checking Doomsday Clock and Tron's Son. Lemon Patchwork and Tron's Son collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight checking Doomsday Clock. Lemon Patchwork and Tron's Son collided in the home straight.
Lewis Fields was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a suspected fracture of the right hock. A stand down period of 30 days was imposed.
