Starc and Big Kat collided approaching the first turn. Just Ducal raced wide approaching the second turn. Dyna Perseus and Shall She Rock collided approaching the second turn. Gold Affair Two commenced to lose ground approaching the third turn and tailed off. Shall She Rock and Starc collided on the home turn. Dyna Perseus and Big Kat collided on the home turn.
Gold Affair Two was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 5. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both wrists and right monkey muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr M. Hanke, Trainer of Gold Affair Two, regarding the greyhound's performance tonight. Mr Hanke stated that he was disappointed with the greyhound's performance and informed the Stewards that he will consider the racing future of Gold Affair Two in the coming days.
