Claremorris and Our Banjo were slow to begin.

Spiral Bek and Magic Buzz collided soon after the start. Stolen Gem and Claremorris collided on the first turn. Spiral Bek checked off Magic Buzz approaching the home turn checking Stolen Gem and causing Spiral Bek and Stolen Gem to race wide as a result. Our Banjo raced wide on the home turn checking Spiral Bek and Stolen Gem. Stolen Gem and Our Banjo collided approaching the winning post. 

Claretown Mae was quick to begin. Sinking Ship was slow to begin.

Select Boy and Bronco De Jurer collided soon after the start. Miss Grithinbush and Sinking Ship collided on the first turn checking Miss Grithinbush, Bronco De Jurer and Select Boy, Bronco De Jurer stumbled and Select Boy contacted the running rail as a result. Claretown Mae galloped on the heels of Ate Grand Kids approaching the winning post checking Ate Grand Kids.

Nitrofied checked off Big Boy McEvoy on the first turn. Demolition Guy checked off Culminate on the second turn checking Claretown Clyde. 

Demolition Guy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Riseley the trainer of Culminate regarding why the greyhound raced without a muzzle. Mr Riseley stated that shortly prior to the start, the lead on the greyhound became adrift and subsequently dislodged the muzzle. He added that he was unaware that the muzzle had become dislodged as he was focused on restraining the greyhound. Stewards charged Mr. Riseley with a breach of GAR86(o) in that he was negligent as he failed to ensure the greyhound Culminate carried a muzzle during the running of the event. 

Mr. Riseley pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Mr. Riseley was found guilty and fined the sum of $200. 

Flossy Thelly and Claretown Snowy were slow to begin. 

Ottantotto, Surfing Minnie and Zealous Revenge collided soon after the start. Ottantotto and Surfing Minnie collided on the first turn checking Zealous Revenge and Claretown Snowy. Surfing Minnie checked off Flossy Thelly in the home straight. 

Speed Chill was quick to begin.

Highfield Rocco checked off Mahalo on the first turn. Macburner checked off Kevaud's Girl approaching the home turn. 

Decipher was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Cazar Rose was slow to begin.

Turanza Magic, Cattogio and Looney Lucy collided soon after the start checking Cattogio. Optimiste, Turanza Magic, Looney Lucy, Stylish Ruler and Cazar Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Cattogio, Turanza Magic and Looney Lucy. Cazar Rose and Optimiste collided on the first turn checking Optimiste and Cattogio. Looney Lucy checked off Turanza Magic on the first turn. Cattogio and Looney Lucy collided entering the home straight.

Satisfactory Trial Results -

Mr. L. Wright, trainer of Natoya's Dream redeclared a new weight of 26.8kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR39(2). Natoya's Dream last raced at 25.1kgs.

Corowa Kid trialled over the 390m from box 1, weight 32.1kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.09, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 11 lengths. Corowa Kid was Cleared.

Natoya's Dream trialled over the 390m from box 8, weight 26.8kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.09 the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 20 lengths. Natoya's Dream was Cleared.
