Crymelon Nugget stumbled approaching the home turn and lost ground.

Dragon Empire and Peregon Flyer were slow to begin and collided soon after the start, checking Peregon Flyer. Grand Jet, Dragon Empire and Ice Cold Bundy collided soon after the start. Brumby Boy checked off All Inn Carla on the first turn. Ice Cold Bundy checked off Peregon Flyer approaching the home turn. Ice Cold Bundy, Rumbalara Girl and Black Carbide collided on the home turn. Black Carbide raced wide in the home straight. Brumby Boy and All Inn Carla collided in the home straight, checking All Inn Carla. Grand Jet and All Inn Carla collided approaching the winning post.

Black Carbide was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Suspicious Gary was quick to begin. Old Jock and Black Linen were slow to begin. Old Jock and All Inn Line collided soon after the start, checking Old Jock, which stumbled and lost ground as a result. All Inn Line and Black Linen collided approaching the first turn, checking Black Linen. Black Linen severely checked off All Inn Line on the first turn. Old Jock galloped on the heels of Black Linen approaching the home turn, severely checking both greyhounds.

Old Jock was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Audreana was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Jack The Black, Boris Bekim and Twirly Bird were slow to begin. Stetson Excite, Global Lad and Boris Bekim collided soon after the start, checking Global Lad. Stetson Excite, Boris Bekim and Twirly Bird collided on the first turn, checking Twirly Bird.

Stetson Excite, which trailed the field throughout, was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Gravitation was slow to begin. Thelma's Man and Arolok Molly collided soon after the start, checking Thelma's Man. Arolok Jimmy and Arolok Jane collided soon after the start. Arolok Jimmy, Arolok Jane and Gravitation collided approaching the first turn, checking Arolok Jane. Arolok Jimmy checked off Gravitation on the first turn, checking Arolok Jane and Macca's Sway. The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Tekki Minx and no illness was detected.  The greyhound was a late scratching at 3.10p.m. due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A ten day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, D. Crawford was fined the sum of $100.

Kirabilli George crossed to the rails soon after the start, checking Whistler Bale, Funky Chicken and Miss Shirleen. Optimus Bart and Kirabilli George collided on the first turn, severely checking Kirabilli George. Optimus Bart and Glock collided entering the back straight, checking Optimus Bart. Trip To Cairns and Miss Shirleen collided on the second turn. TripTo Cairns and Funky Chicken collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Trip To Cairns. Kirabilli George and Funky Chicken collided approaching the home turn, checking Kirabilli George. Whistler Bale and Optimus Bart collided entering the home straight. Optimus Bart galloped on the heels of Glock approaching the winning post, checking Glock.

Hot Gold and Nubian Princess collided on the first turn, checking Nubian Princess. Fourier Bale and Go Ginger Go collided on the first turn, checking Go Ginger Go. Nubian Princess, Go Ginger Go and Compa Allen collided approaching the home turn, checking Nubian Princess, Go Ginger Go and Dynamo's Miss. Nubian Princess checked off Compa Allen on the home turn. Go GInger Go checked off Dynamo's Miss in the home straight. Nubian Princess and Dynamo's Miss collided in the home straight.

Phenom Bale and Lucifer's Fury were slow to begin and collided soon after the start, checking Lucifer's Fury. Eye Smith and Phenom Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Eye Smith, Phenom Bale and Lucifer's Fury collided on the first turn, checking Lucifer's Fury. Karagiozis checked off Skyfire approaching the home turn. Following the running of this event it was noted that the times for the first and second greyhounds were recorded on FastTrack as being the same time when in fact there was a margin of a nose.  This was confirmed on the observations of the Judges, Steward In Charge and the actual photo finish photo. The time difference registered was 0.0008.          .

Hard Urned Burst and Sundance Rock were slow to begin. Tekki China and Chevy Spark collided soon after the start. Hard Urned Burst checked off Rusty Peg soon after the start, checking Sundance Rock. Tekki Tremor and Rusty Peg collided on the first turn, severely checking Hard Urned Burst, Rusty Peg, Chevy Spark and Sundance Rock; Hard Urned Burst fell as a result.

Hard Urned Burst was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. M. Lloyd, the handler of the greyhound Chevy Spark regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn.

Tye Me Up went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Starvin' Seagull checked off Centralian soon after the start. Dyna Malaise, Black Barron Lad and Remo Belle collided approaching the first turn.  Black Cadel, Centralian and Black Barron Lad collided on the first turn, checking Black Barron Lad, and severely checking Starvin' Seagull and Crackerjack Lad; causing Tye Me Up to fall. Centralian and Black Cadel collided approaching the home turn. Centralian and Black Cadel collided in the home straight, checking Centralian.

Tye Me Up was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left and right shoulders.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Starvin' Seagull was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Crackerjack Lad was vetted following the event. It was reported that that there was no apparent injury found.

Paranoia was slow to begin. Allen Grundy and Quasi Bale collided soon after the start, checking Allen Grundy. Quasi Bale and Tap And Go collided approaching the home turn. Chivalry and Crymelon Pink collided approaching the home turn. Dynamo's Dove and Paranoia collided on the home turn. Dynamo's Dove and Crymelon Pink collided in the home straight, checking Dynamo's Dove. Hogganaught and Quasi Bale collided in the home straight, checking Hogganaught.

Allen Grundy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
