Good Judge Buddy was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Annabow checked off Make Papa Proud on the first turn, checking Arvo's Texan and Good Judge Buddy which both raced wide as a result. Always About Me checked off Wave Action approaching the second turn. Always About Me checked off Baby's Rattle on the third turn. Baby's Rattle tired over the concluding stages of the event.
Make Papa Proud was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hind spike wound; a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
