Steward's Report
Ms Hannah Barravecchio failed to kennel My Own Voice by the appointed kennelling time. A fine of $50.00 was issued pursuant to LR 39.1
Starlight Roy, Max Blazer and Ocean Girl were slow to begin.
My Own Voice underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Ms Hannah Barravecchio regarding the behaviour of My Own Voice in escaping the catching pen. The Stewards hold concerns that this poses an unnecessary safety issue for My Own Voice, for other greyhounds in the race and staff that triage these types of incidents. After considering submissions from Ms Barravecchio, a warning was issued that further such instances of this nature may result in My Own Voice being placed on a conditional satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 129.
