Stewards issued a warning pursuant to GAR 81(1) to Mr John Brown, after Little Venice escaped the handler in the kennel building during the kenneling process.

The start was delayed by approximately one minute due to operational activities.

Cardi Go Easy was quick to begin. Slow Cleaner was slow to begin.

Pamela Jay Raced wide in the home straight.

Sandy Diva was quick to begin. Below The Curve was slow to begin. Unsurpassed was very slow to begin (4 lenghts).

Urana Lightning was galloped on in the first turn and subsequently lost ground, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

System Issues was quick to begin. Marriage Over was slow to begin.

A post–race sample was taken from Glyos Move – the winner of the event.  

A pre–race sample was taken from Jay Jay Lopez.

Jezza Bence was quick to begin. Brothers Yap was slow to begin.

Chi Foose crossed out in the first turn and raced wide through out.

Ms Hannah Barravecchio failed to kennel My Own Voice by the appointed kennelling time. A fine of $50.00 was issued pursuant to LR 39.1 

Starlight Roy, Max Blazer and Ocean Girl were slow to begin.

My Own Voice underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Ms Hannah Barravecchio regarding the behaviour of My Own Voice in escaping the catching pen. The Stewards hold concerns that this poses an unnecessary safety issue for My Own Voice, for other greyhounds in the race and staff that triage these types of incidents. After considering submissions from Ms Barravecchio, a warning was issued that further such instances of this nature  may result in My Own Voice being placed on a conditional satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 129.

Redshift Papa underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a left hindleg triangle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Ravenna Bale was quick to begin.

High Regard was checked and stumbled on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg hock injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track on the first turn and deemed it satisfactory for racing.

Mighty Hercules was slow to begin.

War Knee was checked on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg calf injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre–race sample was taken from Uncontested.

Come Catch Me was quick to begin. Uninhabited was slow to begin.

Baby Sugar Loud and Urana Mr. Rob were quick to begin. Free Falling and Hay Riley were slow to begin.

A post–race sample was taken from Wreaking Havoc – placed second in the event 

Asia, Hurricane Talia and You're in Luck were slow to begin.

Hurricane Tahlia underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have collapsed post race due to PEDS - post exercise distress syndrome.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 42, Hurricane Tahlia is prohibited from competing in an event until such time as both a veterinary clearance is provided to the satisfaction of Stewards and a Satisfactory Trial is completed pursuant to GAR 132. Further, under the provisions of GAR 42(3), Hurricane Tahlia is suspended from racing for 28 days at all tracks. 

A pre–race sample was taken from Jessica Pearson.

Irinka Gladys and Jessica Pearson were quick to begin.

Johnny lost ground in the home straight and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Ms Loren Dalziel regarding Johnny’s performance in  the home straight. After hearing submissions from Ms Dalziel, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Johnny unsatisfactory. Johnny must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Persuasion – Whelping trial – Solo, Distance: 400m, Weight: 28.1 kg, Box 8, Time Run 23.033 – Comment: Cleared All Tracks.
