Aston Hamrun [stumbled soon after the start and lost considerable ground], underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right wrist and right triceps. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Trainer - Mr. S.McDonnell was queried as significant betting fluctuations were observed by Stewards on What Style in this event. The comments of Mr. McDonnell were noted. A post–race sample was taken from What Style – placed 3rd in the event.
