Steward's Report
Droopy Max was slow to begin.
Patrice Lass was severely checked turning out of the back straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist sprain. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Lexie Rose failed to pursue the lure with due commitment entering the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right long head triceps muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms. Deborah Coleman regarding the racing manners of Lexie Rose entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Lexie Rose was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms. Coleman pleaded guilty to the charge. Lexie Rose was suspended for 28 days at Horsham and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
