A pre-race sample was taken from Dundee Raider.
Wiskey Splash was quick to begin. Two Reasons was slow to begin.
Whiskey Splash was checked on the first turn and underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left metatarsal. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Robert Whitford regarding the boxing of Al's My Mate in this event, Mr Whitford informed stewards he will not be handling any greyhounds in any future events.
A post–race sample was taken from Summer Wings – the winner of the event.
