Steward's Report
Jocelyn Will Do was quick to begin. Highland Warrior and For Pete's Sake were slow to begin.
Bon Rose eased on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms. Sharon-Lee Chignell regarding Bon Rose's racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Bon Rose was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Chignell pleaded guilty to the charge. Bon Rose must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from For Pete's Sake - the winner of the event.
