Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Immunity Idol on 22/2/24 pursuant to GAR 139.
Inter Rouge – Late scratching at 6:43pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to injuries to the right monkey and right hind toe. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Further, Stewards require a veterinary certificate of fitness to be produced before any further nominations are accepted for Inter Rouge, in accordance with GAR19(3)(w).
A pre-race sample was taken from Oxidation.
Dusk Till Dawn was quick to begin.
Immunity Idol was checked on the first turn and subsequently lost ground. Immunity Idol underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right fore split webbing. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Dusk Till Dawn underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Numerous was checked and subsequently stumbled after the winning post. Numerous underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
