Steward's Report
Bounding Chief (tailed off), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 6, no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Martin Hanke regarding Bounding Chief's performance in the event. After hearing submissions from Mr. Hanke, viewing the available race footage and taking into account Bounding Chief's finishing time of 44.90, Stewards deemed the performance of Bounding Chief unsatisfactory. Bounding Chief must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Ella's Babe - the winner of the event.
