Steward's Report
Be Frank and Komatsu Icon were quick to begin. Two Foot Toni was slow to begin.
Two Foot Toni (collided with Be Frank in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Jordan Formosa regarding the racing manners of Two Foot Toni in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Formosa, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
Jilliby Mish (visibly eased in the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following event 6. Jilliby Mish was found to have injuries to the right sartorius and left shoulder. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms. Kate Jackson regarding Jilliby Mish's racing manners in the homer straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Jilliby Mish was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Jackson pleaded guilty to the charge and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
