Steward's Report

Aston Acacia - Due to IT issues the weight was not recorded in Fasttrack. The greyhound weighed 28.7kgs.

Flying Scotch was quick to begin. Archer Sweet was slow to begin.
Moraine Archie (lost ground from turning out of the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Ms Maureen Bloom regarding the greyhound’s performance in the event. After hearing submissions from Ms Bloom, the on-track veterinarian and considering the greyhound's finishing time and beaten margin, the Stewards deemed the performance of Moraine Archie unsatisfactory. Moraine Archie must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
