Steward's Report
Representative, Miss. Olivia Cartechini requested an early race endorsement for She Can Dream. Stewards approved the request after an examination prior to racing by the on–track veterinarian. She Can Dream will compete in early races until further notice.
She Can Dream was quick to begin. Cuban Lad and Perfect Liam were slow to begin.
Crusoe Magic underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wound to the left wrist. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Cuban Lad (marred Straight Facts entering the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a lost toenail on the left fore. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Dylan Sharp regarding Cuban Lad’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Cuban Lad was charged with marring. Mr. Sharp pleaded not guilty to the charge. Cuban Lad was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
