Steward's Report
Feathers was quick to begin. Uncontested was slow to begin.
Stewards spoke to Kennel Representative Mr. Darren Petersen regarding the racing manners of Sugar Bowl Rose entering the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr. Petersen, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards formed the view that Sugar Bowl Rose shifted inwards towards the running rail and subsequently collided with Lucky Fernando multiple times in the home straight. Stewards were comfortably satisfied that Sugar Bowl Rose's racing manners did not constitute a breach of the rules. Stewards took no further action.
