Lektra Rodney and Golden Lady were quick to begin.
Lektra Rodney (severely checked and fell on the first turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Golden Lady (severely checked and fell on the first turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a sacro-iliac injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
