This event was delayed by one minute due to mechanical issues with the catching pen gate.

Mumma Moo Shaka was quick to begin. Soho Simon Says was slow to begin.

Stewards spoke to name of trainer Mr P Fulton regarding the racing manners of Ruby Wren on the home turn (checked at fallen greyhound). After hearing submissions from Mr P Fulton, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action. 

Mumma Moo Shaka - checked and fell home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to representative Mr T Samantzis regarding the racing manners of Mumma Moo Shaka approaching the home turn. After hearing submissions from Mr T Samantzis, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections. 

A post -race sample was taken from Airbourne Shaun the winner of the event.

Nurse Rosie and American Angel were quick to begin. Artorias Bale, Aston Murphy and Coastal Value were slow to begin.

Sam's Girl and Lektra Julie were quick to begin. Farnham Bale was slow to begin.

Singing Billy - faltered and fell approaching home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left bicep muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Following  the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track on the first turn and approaching the home turn and deemed it satisfactory for racing. 

Bert Deeds – Late scratching at 2.45pm due to not being presented / non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). Due to the circumstances surrounding the non–presentation, Trainer Mr G Anders was fined $250. 

Larry In Pursuit and Front Cover were quick to begin. Ian Bale was slow to begin.

Aston Iggy – New declared weight of 33.0kg, last raced at 35.0kg. 

Crooked Shadows was quick to begin. Aston Farrell and Aston Iggy were slow to begin.

She's All Cheek and Grumpy Sailor were quick to begin. Lamont Bale was slow to begin.

Rapidfire Forest raced wide in the home straight.

Chasing Jimmy and Myola Sunrise were quick to begin. 

Gas Man – trainer Mr M Roberts was queried as betting fluctuations were observed by Stewards. The comments of Mr M Roberts were noted and a post race sample was taken for analysis - winner of the event. 

A pre–race sample was taken from - I'm Air Raiding.

Jackpot and Mr. Deeds were quick to begin. White Brew was slow to begin.

White Brew underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right quad muscle injury and a spike wound to the right foreleg. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.  

Stewards spoke to trainer Mr R Brewer regarding White Brew's racing mannersin the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125,White Brew was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr R Brewer pleaded guilty to the charge. White Brew must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Tiggy's Em was quick to begin. 

Tiggy's Em - checked first turn and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. 

Two Hat Pat and Dr. Matrix were quick to begin. Longdown was slow to begin.

A pre–race sample was taken from - Dr. Carlson.

Striking Holly and Aston Sheriff were quick to begin. Citi Field was slow to begin.

Honest Thief - checked and stumbled approaching winning post, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right foreleg. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre–race sample was taken from - Aston Dynasty.

Captain Bender and Inga Linda were quick to begin. River Matt was slow to begin.

Terrific Keith  - checked home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left tricep muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards conducted a check of the catcher’s licences in accordance with LRR 19.2 - all were compliant. 

Satisfactory Trial:

Fritter –fail to chase – Field of 5, Distance: 390m, Weight: 27.6 kg, Box 1, Placed 5th, Time Run 24.38 – Comment: Not Cleared. 

Fritter - checked & lost ground first turn, underwent a post–trial veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left bicep. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Larry Intention  – weight – Field of 5, Distance: 390m, Weight: 39.1 kg, Box 8, Placed 1st, Time Run 22.85 – Comment: Cleared All Tracks. 

Larry Intention – Ordered to wear an anti–aggression muzzle in all future events in accordance with GAR 131.
