Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Lamia Louise on 18 October 2023 pursuant to GAR 139.
Belfast Lily and Nana's Rebel were slow to begin.
Super Breeze (turned head outwards and marred Red Shiraz entering the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back and a right triangle muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Ms D.Robertson regarding Super Breeze’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Super Breeze was charged with marring. Ms Roberston pleaded guilty to the charge. Super Breeze was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
