Stewards took an out of competition sample from the greyhound Whipping It after it was discovered that the greyhound was present on-course during kennelling time.
Stewards remind all participants that, without having received the permission of Stewards, it is an offence to bring a greyhound on-course which is not engaged in the race meeting, pursuant to GAR 84.

A sample was taken from Fly Chic upon arrival at the course.
Dundee Tiara – Late scratching at 6:16pm on the advice of the on–track veterinarian (GAR 92) due to a left long head triceps muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Celestial Dawn was quick to begin. Kamali was slow to begin.
Fly Chic (lost ground in the back straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right long head triceps and left gracilis muscle injuries. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Misdirected - the winner of the event.
