Steward's Report
Dan Dan – Late scratching at 14:07 due to weight variation (GAR 101). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Ms Kate Gorman was fined $100.
La Lina underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of the Trainer and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Grant's Treasure – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 106.
The announcement of the All Clear was delayed for the Stewards to review the race footage after a piece of paper landed infront of the lids at the starting boxes (box 1) while the greyhounds were being loaded into the starting boxes, and was shortly thereafter retrieved by the starter. After viewing the footage and acting on their own observations, the Stewards were comfortably satisfied that no greyhounds were materially affected so as to affect the outcome of the event. The All Clear was posted.
There was no head on vision available in the home straight.
