Aston Rosa lost ground over the concluding stages, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist sprain. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

The announcement of the All Clear was delayed for the Stewards to review the race footage after a piece of paper landed infront of the lids at the starting boxes (box 1) while the greyhounds were being loaded into the starting boxes, and was shortly thereafter retrieved by the starter. After viewing the footage and acting on their own observations, the Stewards were comfortably satisfied that no greyhounds were materially affected so as to affect the outcome of the event. The All Clear was posted.

Empress Blaze lost ground throughout the event, underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Ms Kerry Houlahan regarding Empress Blaze’s performance in this event. After hearing submissions from Ms Houlahan, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Empress Blaze unsatisfactory. Empress Blaze must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Big Lex fell in the catching pen, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have PEDS due to a trauma and abrasions to the left foreleg. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
