Steward's Report
In accordance with Sky Racing this event was re-scheduled to 4.36pm - originally scheduled for 4.37pm.
Pursuant to GAR 75(6), club official Mr P Carter did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.
Mr A Paraskevas failed to kennel Aunt Virginia by the appointed kennelling time. A fine of $50 was issued pursuant to LR 39.1
Fled The Scene, Aunt Virginia, Willful Bale and Another Houdini were quick to begin. Ellie Kat raced wide in the home straight.
A post-race sample was taken from Aunt Virginia - the winner of the event.
Shima Stella - checked, faltered and lost ground turn into home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind hock fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track approaching and on the home turn and deemed it satisfactory for racing.
