Short And Stumpy was quick to begin. Blue Cristalle and Jolene Bale were slow to begin.
Holtorf Bale underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a right foreleg injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
There was no head on vision available in the home straight for this event.
