Steward's Report
Rod's Super, Burcov Caviar, Seebohm and Drama were slow to begin. Rod's Super and Burcov Caviar collided approaching the first turn. Flaming Shiraz and Space Power collided approaching the first turn. Rod's Super, Burcov Caviar, Seebohm and Drama collided on the first turn severely checking Burcov Caviar and Drama. Burcov Caviar stumbled approaching the second turn. Space Power and Tian Mi Mi collided on the third turn. Seebohm checked off Tian Mi Mi approaching the home turn checking Flaming Shiraz. Flaming Shiraz and Rod's Super collided entering the home straight checking Rod's Super.
Burcov Caviar was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right back muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to D. Fisher, the trainer of Burcov Caviar regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the second turn.
A sample was taken from Taxi Sono Qui - the winner of the event.
