Billy's Whirl, Lektra Rhianna and Batman were slow to begin. Lektra Rhianna and Left In Paris collided soon after the start. Billy's Whirl checked off Snow Zapper approaching the first turn. Semi Earner and Left In Paris collided on the first turn checking Semi Earner, Batman and Neil's Wish causing Lektra Rhianna to race wide. Neil's Wish checked off Semi Earner approaching the second turn. Billy's Whirl raced wide approaching the second turn. Ross Tech Head and Batman collided on the third turn. Left In Paris checked off Ross Tech Head approaching the home turn. Semi Earner checked off Ross Tech Head in the home straight. Ross Tech Head lost ground in the home straight.
Ross Tech Head was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
