Steward's Report
Electra Glide and Pi Grange was quick to begin. Spanish Bullet was slow to begin.
Electra Glide (marred Zippy Wiesman entering the home straight), underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Mannion, Trainer of Electra Glide, regarding the racing manners of Electra Glide entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Electra Glide was charged with marring. Mr. Mannion pleaded not guilty to the charge. Electra Glide was found guilty and suspended for three months at all tracks and must perform two Satisfactory Trials in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Quilla Reef (checked off Spanish Bullet and fell in the home straight), underwent a post-race veterinary examination. It was reported the greyhound was found to have a right tarsal sprain. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
