Mega Banjo Boy was quick to begin.
Bella Dreamtime marred You're in Luck entering the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Richard Anchen regarding Bella Dreamtime’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Bella Dreamtime was charged with marring. Mr Anchen pled guilty to the charge, Bella Dreamtime was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Mega Banjo Boy - the winner of the event.
