Steward's Report
Sword Dancer visibly eased on the home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left long head triceps muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr David Bickerton regarding Sword Dancer’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Sword Dancer was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Bickerton pled guilty to the charge, Sword Dancer was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
