Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Kennel Attendant Mr S.Manning did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.
Krystal Bale and Elanga were quick to begin. Brandenburg raced wide in the home straight.
Aeroplane Astro (lost ground approaching the winning post) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left bicep injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr S.Webb regarding the racing manners of Aeroplane Astro approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr Webb, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
A post–race sample was taken from Krystal Bale – the winner of the event.
