Boggy Dozer and Lektra Lyanna were quick to begin. Reiko Maguire was slow to begin.
Reiko Maguire underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock splke wound injury. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr C. Brennan regarding Reiko Maguire’s racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125,Reiko Maguire was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr C. Brennan pleaded guilty to the charge.Reiko Maguire was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
