Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Kennel Attendant Mrs J.Hooke did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.
Mincher Magic and Kris Bar Paddy were slow to begin.
Pablo's Call (eased and turned its head outwards approaching the home turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right stopper injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Representative Mr J.Formosa regarding Pablo's Call’s racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Pablo's Call was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Formosa pleaded guilty to the charge. Pablo's Call was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Kris Bar Paddy (eased and turned its head outwards approaching the home turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race six. Kris Bar Paddy was found to have a right wrist injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
