Steward's Report
Lee Lee Cabang was quick to begin. Missile Maggie was slow to begin. Dr. Dulcie stayed at the boxes at box rise and took no part in the event.
A pre–race sample was taken from Loyalty Card.
Dr. Dulcie - failed to take any competitive part, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Mr K Quinn declined the option to have the greyhound re–examined.
Stewards spoke to Mr K Quinn regarding Dr. Dulcie's’s racing manners at box rise. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Dr. Dulcie was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr K Quinn pleaded guilty to the charge. Dr. Dulcie was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
