Happy Chick was quick to begin. Scala Black and Tabula Rasa were slow to begin. 

Stewards spoke to Mr P. Ellul regarding the racing manners of Fiddles approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr. Ellul, viewing the available race footage and taking into consideration this is the greyhounds first start, Stewards took no further action.

Shady Girl – Late scratching at 7:10am when Ms E. Johannsen reported the greyhound to have Diarrhoea (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.

Aussie Savannah was slow to begin. 

Perfect Revenge underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of the Trainer and was found to have a left front toe injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Rocket Ralph upon arrival at the course.

Rocket Ralph was quick to begin. Thunder Struck was slow to begin.

A post-race sample was taken from Cyclone Sophie - the winner of the event.

Master Zorro and Rear View Mirror were slow to begin. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Crowdza Smiling.

She's Something and She's The One were quick to begin. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Don't Tell Him. 

Aglaea was quick to begin. Wake Up Dusty was slow to begin. 

Hallee's Reef was quick to begin. 

Flying Speed visibly eased at the 150m mark and subsequently pulled up. Flying Speed underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr J. Burch regarding Flying Speed’s racing manners at the 150m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Flying Speed was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Burch pleaded guilty to the charge. Flying Speed was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards delayed the All Clear after a bird was on track at the 50m mark. After reviewing all available footage and acting on their observations, Stewards were comfortably satisfied that the incident had no effect on the outcome of the race. The All Clear was given on 8-4-6-7.

Ring A Daisy was quick to begin. Not Happy Jan was slow to begin.

A post-race sample was taken from Maybe Yesterday - the winner of the event. 

Cruella and Gypsy Jed were quick to begin.

Nicolson Bale was slow to begin.

Trickity Click was quick to begin. Chop and Garth Vader were slow to begin. 

Full On Aileen turned its head to the outside and visibly eased approaching the 50m mark. Full On Aileen underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left long head triceps, right quadriceps and right pectineus. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr M. Ryan regarding Come On Aileen’s racing manners approaching the 50m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Come On Aileen was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Ryan pleaded guilty to the charge. Come On Aileen was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Contralto and Alfa Bullet were quick to begin. Blitzen Vixen and Major China were slow to begin.
