Steward's Report
Moraine Tom was quick to begin. Aston Garreffa was slow to begin and raced wide to the first turn.
Following the event, Got To Beware collapsed in the catching pen. The greyhound was pronounced deceased by the On–Track Veterinarian. Routine samples were taken, and an autopsy will be conducted in accordance with GAR 43.
Off To See underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a left toe injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
Supplementary Report – 11 August 2023 - An autopsy was conducted on Got To Beware which was pronounced deceased by the On– Track Veterinarian. The likely cause of death was acute cardiac failure.
