Crackerjack Nick – Late scratching at 9:34am when Mr. J. Cooper reported the greyhound to have a hock injury (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken form Zipping Crusader.
Go Jet Go and Crackerjack Aret were quick to begin. Burdock and Spring Casper were slow to begin.
Beard Stroker underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a torn nail. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Go Jet Go (checked and lost ground in the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 9. Go Jet Go was found to have a left triangle muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
