Steward's Report
The start of this event was delayed approximately three minutes due to difficulty in boxing Bold Contender. All greyhounds were removed from the starting boxes, underwent an examination by the On-Track Veterinarian, and subsequently passed fit to race. At the second attempt, Bold Contender was boxed first alongside Fabs Udon. Bold Contender will be boxed first in future events. in accordance with GAR 106.
Settlement Day and Bonnie Gal were quick to begin.
Inga Sadie (checked approaching the first turn and subsequently lost ground) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
