Steward's Report
Lightning Pest and Cruising Jack were quick to begin.
Lightning Pest - racing manners home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left and right pectoral muscles. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr G Elliot regarding the racing manners of Lightning Pest in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr G Elliot, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.
A post–race sample was taken from Tapering Off – the winner of the event.
