Sweet Secret – Mr. R. Mahony was queried as significant betting fluctuations were observed by Stewards. The comments of Mr R. Mahony were noted and a sample was taken for analysis.
Moraine Miley was quick to begin. Sweet Secret was slow to begin.
Jamie's Gift (severely checked first turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Ronny Allsorts (racing manners approaching the home turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr P Fulton regarding the racing manners of Ronny Allsorts approaching the home turn . After hearing submissions from Mr P Fulton, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.
A post-race sample was taken from Moraine Miley the winner of the event.
