Steward's Report
Angelani – Late scratching at 10.27am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to a sartorius injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Mr. Daniel Hoch was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for Little Speckle, pursuant to GAR 88.
Bonnieville Icon was slow to begin.
Little Speckle underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re-vetted after race 3, and was found to have a left triangle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Daniel Hoch regarding Little Speckle’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Little Speckle was charged with marring. Mr. Hoch pleaded guilty to the charge. Little Speckle was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at today’s track and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
