Crush Your Rush was slow to begin.

Crush Your Rush severely checked and lost ground approaching the home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Mr. Anderson was slow to begin.

The start was delayed by approximately seven minutes due to operational issues with the 410m starting boxes. This was immediately rectified and multiple passes of the lure and boxes were tested to ensure correct operation.

Bay Tudor was slow to begin.

Urana Lightning  – Late scratching at 9:06am when trainer, Michelle Mallia reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.

Black Bow was quick to begin. Kraken Paddy and Lochinvar Viduka were slow to begin.

What Hope visibly eased approaching the winning post, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound. No day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to representative Mr. H. Goss regarding What Hope’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, What Hope was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Goss pleaded not guilty to the charge. What Hope was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Kraken Chance – Late scratching at 2:18pm under GAR 92(4) on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian after being found to have a papilloma. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance stating the condition no longer exists before any future nominations will be accepted.

A pre–race sample was unable to be obtained from Paltrow Bale, a post–race sample was subsequently taken.

Beast Classified severely checked and fell on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a fracture to the right stifle. Beast Classified was humanely euthanised.

Paltrow Bale severely checked and fell on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have multiple abrasions and brusing. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
