Deal Breaker (contacted the rail in the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no injury reported.
Sir Blitz (contacted the rail and fell approaching the turn out of the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left humerus and toe fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
