Steward's Report
Zulu Accomplice and Car Ramrod were slow to begin. Quantum Princess was very slow to begin (3 lengths).
Quantum Princess visibly eased approaching the winning post, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following event 4 - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Paul Cusack regarding Quantum Princess' racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Quantum Princess was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Cusack pleaded not guilty to the charge. Quantum Princess was found guilty. Quantum Princess was suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
