Steward's Report
Two Reasons and Mangrove Merv were slow to begin.
Selma Slick lost ground approaching the winning post, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left triangle and right pencil. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Shane Wetzels regarding the racing manners of Selma Slick approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr. Wetzels, viewing the available race footage, and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.
