Tiggerlong Nibel was slow to begin.
Stewards spoke to Ms. Michelle Carruthers, trainer of Zadie, regarding the greyhound pulling up prior to the return gate and failing to enter the catching pen. After hearing evidence from Ms. Carruthers, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards issued a warning.
A post-race sample was taken from Akina Jack - the winner of the event.
