Borrowed Time, Tikarni and Hello Easy were quick to begin.  Catch My Drift was slow to begin.

Poholke was quick to begin.  Ronny Allsorts was slow to begin.

Stewards spoke to Trainer - Mr. Peter Fulton, regarding the racing manners of Ronny Allsorts approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Ronny Allsorts was charged with marring. Mr. Fulton pleaded guilty to the charge. Ronny Allsorts was suspended for 28 days at Ballarat only and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Trainer, Ms. D.Carr, was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for Call The Fairies pursuant to GAR 88.

Bocconcini – Late scratching at 6.35pm due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. Matthew Marshall informed Stewards that the kennel had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr. Marshall that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 72 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Battle Axle, a post-race blood sample was taken.

Flying Ability and La La Missouri were quick to begin.

An out of competition sample was taken from Buster Harley on 14/09/2023.

A pre-race sample was taken from Chief Dribble.

As the front row greyhounds were being loaded into the boxes, the lids opened prematurely.  The Stewards made orders pursuant to GAR 110 (1) and 110 (7) and declared the event a ‘No Race’. All bets to be refunded. The weights recorded for the greyhounds are void and do not count for the purposes of the weight rule at the greyhounds’ next start. The event was then abandoned, with prizemoney to be split evenly between the eligible greyhounds.  Stewards further directed that Savic, Amazed By You, Harvard Scholar and Chief Dribble undergo a veterinary examination following the incident - no injuries were apparent.

Aston Arielle began awkwardly and lost ground (4L)

Fighting Boxer, Multi Matt and Claretown Ryan were quick to begin.

Gypsy Yankee was quick to begin.  Fawn Shadow and Aston Marvel were slow to begin. 

Fawn Shadow raced wide in the home straight.

Winstown Town was quick to begin.  Red Reactor was slow to begin.

Shima Dream underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no injury apparent.  Stewards spoke to representative, Ms. R. Church, regarding the performance of Shima Dream over the concluding stages. Ms Church agreed with the Stewards observation that Shima Dream cramped. Acting in accordance with GAR 130, Shima Dream was ordered to undertake a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 130, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

An out of competition sample was taken from Indy Korie on 06/09/2023.

A pre-race sample was taken from She's The Grouse.

Bella Dreamtime was quick to begin.  She's The Grouse was slow to begin.

Forbes Debut was quick to begin.  She's Something and Forbes Delight were slow to begin.

Pi Grange, Mighty Water Boy and Moraine Charli were quick to begin.

Occipital, King Kaboom and Mayfair's Dream were slow to begin.
