Steward's Report
Little Liv was slow to begin.
Baby Sugar Loud collided with Pretty Ryker entering the home straight and subsequently lost ground, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg monkey injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Pretty Ryker collided with Baby Sugar Loud and Little Liv entering the home straight and subsequently pulled up, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg biceps brachii injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
Black Frank faltered on the home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg triangle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mr Tony Cortese regarding Black Frank's overall performance on the home turn. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr T. Cortese to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Black Frank in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
